Project meeting in Birmingham

September 19-22, 2011

The second half yearly meeting of the GeRT project took place from Semptember 19 to 22, 2011, at the University of Birmingham. The partners from UB, TUD, ORU and DLR had the occasion to present their status reports concerning the work packages and to discuss the outcomes of the last half year. Two presentations of the state of the art in grasping and hybrid planning were the basis for a two days workshop focussing on the work packages 'planning', 'perception' and 'learning and optimisation of grasping strategies'.
